Family health services

Messrs. Lewis, Rodrigues, Barrett and Eldridge, Ms. Friedman, Ms. Jehlen, Messrs. Feeney, DiDomenico, Boncore and O'Connor and Ms. L'Italien moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, by striking out item 4513-1000 and inserting in place thereof the following item:-

4513-1000  For the provision of family health services; provided, that not less than $6,100,000 shall be expended for comprehensive family planning services, including HIV counseling and testing, community-based health education and outreach services provided by comprehensive family planning agencies; and provided further, that funds may be expended for the birth defects monitoring program....................................................................................................$6,300,000
