Survivor of homicide victims

Messrs. Lewis, Welch, Cyr and Brownsberger, Ms. Gobi and Mr. O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, by inserting after item 4513-1027 the following item:- “4513-1098 For the provision of statewide support services for survivors of homicide victims, including outreach services, burial assistance, grief counseling and other support services; provided, that funds shall be expended as grants to the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, a community-based support organization dedicated to serving families and communities impacted by violence…. $200,000”
