AWAKE Violence Prevention

Messrs. Welch, Lesser and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4000-0005, by adding the following words:- "; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended to Springfield Partners, Inc. for the AWAKE program in Springfield, to provide comprehensive youth development and violence prevention services to at-risk youth"; and

In said section 2 in item 4000-0005 and by striking the figure “$7,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$7,025,000”.
