Strive Forward, Job Readiness

Messrs. Collins and O'Connor moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7003-0150, by adding the following: "and provided that the Department shall expend not less than $400,000 for STRIVE FORWARD, a job-readiness program to be coordinated by the Justice Resource Institute to connect chronically unemployed adults with training, case management and job placement.”;and in said item by striking out the figures “$150,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$550,000”
