Representative Gailanne M. Cariddi Visitor Center at Mt. Greylock State Reservation

Messrs. Hinds, Eldridge and Welch, Ms. Gobi, Mr. O'Connor and Ms. L'Italien moved that the proposed new text be amended by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XXXX. The Mount Greylock Visitor Center, located at Mount Greylock State Reservation that is under the care and control of the department of conservation and recreation, shall be designated and known as the "Representative Gailanne M. Cariddi Visitor Center" in recognition of Representative Gailanne M. Cariddi's work in preserving the Mt. Greylock Reservation for the people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the department.”
