Head Injury Treatment Services Trust Fund Allocation

Representatives Ferguson of Holden and Cassidy of Brockton move to amend the bill by inserting after Section 2 the following new section:

"SECTION X. Section 59 of Chapter 10 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the word “and”, in line 4, and inserting after the figure “24”, in line 4, the following words:- and Section 13B”

And further moves to amend the bill in SECTION 5 by striking clause (d) and inserting in place thereof the following:- “(d) A violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of $100 for a first offense, by a fine of $250 for a second offense, and by a fine of $500 for a third or subsequent offense; provided that $50 of each fine collected under this section shall be deposited into the head injury treatment services trust fund.”
