Registered Apprenticeship Expansion

Representatives Brodeur of Melrose, Barber of Somerville, Capano of Lynn, Connolly of Cambridge, Cutler of Duxbury, Gifford of Wareham, Hay of Fitchburg, Keefe of Worcester, Lawn of Watertown, Lewis of Framingham, McKenna of Webster, Provost of Somerville, Puppolo of Springfield, Robertson of Tewksbury, Sabadosa of Northampton, Santiago of Boston, Ultrino of Malden and Whipps of Athol move to amend the bill in section 2, by inserting after item 7003-0150 the following item:-

“7003-0151 For the purposes of expanding and diversifying registered apprenticeships including in priority manufacturing, healthcare and information technology industries; provided, that funds shall be expended to implement the recommendations of the Black Advisory Commission and the Latino Advisory Commission…………. ...........................$3,400,000”
