Substance Use Disorder Treatment Support for Providers

Ms. Decker of Cambridge moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in line item 4000-0300, in line 2, by inserting after “board;” the following:

“provided further, that the executive office shall expend no less than $500,000 to expand the Massachusetts Consultation Service for Treatment of Addiction and Pain to provide case management and care navigation support to assist healthcare facilities, individual practitioners and other healthcare providers, including, but not limited to, nurse case managers, social workers, and recovery coaches in identifying community-based providers to refer patients for treatment of substance use disorder;”
