Transparency of Spending
Representatives Cabral of New Bedford, Robinson of Framingham, Balser of Newton, Domb of Amherst, Hecht of Watertown, Vega of Holyoke, Provost of Somerville, Peake of Provincetown, Lewis of Framingham, Garballey of Arlington, Decker of Cambridge, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield and DuBois of Brockton move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8900-0001, by adding the following: "; provided further, that the department shall also report to the house and senate committees on ways and means on the cost, revenue, and reimbursement associated with any (i) agreement made pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1357(g); and (ii) intergovernmental service agreement for housing federal detainees; and the performance of the functions thereof, for fiscal year 2017, fiscal year 2018, fiscal year 2019, and shall submit said report for fiscal year 2020 on a quarterly basis to begin on July 3, 2019, due not later than 30 days after the last day of the quarter.”; and further move to amend said section 2, in items 8910-0102, 8910-0105, 8910-0107, 8910-0110, 8910-0145, 8910-0108, 8910-0619, 8910-8200, 8910-8300, 8910-8400, 8910-8500, 8910-8600, 8910-8700, and 8910-8800, by adding the following: "; provided, that the sheriff shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means on the cost, revenue, and reimbursement associated with any (i) agreement made pursuant to 8 U.S.C. § 1357(g); and (ii) intergovernmental service agreement for housing federal detainees; and the performance of the functions thereof, for fiscal year 2017, fiscal year 2018, fiscal year 2019, and shall submit said report for fiscal year 2020 on a quarterly basis to begin on July 3, 2019, due not later than 30 days after the last day of the quarter”.
