Massachusetts Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Initiative (MAICEI)

Representatives Garballey of Arlington, Gentile of Sudbury and Haddad of Somerset move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7066-9600, in line 10, by inserting after “exam” the following: “provided that public institutions of higher education may also include students with severe developmental disabilities over the age of 21 who have been unable to achieve the competency determination necessary to pass the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System exam with planning or implementation grants available through this discretionary grant program”.
