Crystal Lake

Representatives Balser of Newton, Khan of Newton and Lawn of Watertown move to amend the bill in Section 2, in line item 2810-0100, by adding the following: “; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended to the City of Newton Parks and Recreation Department for the purposes of creating a Crystal Lake Master Plan to address the needed improvements to the area around Crystal Lake for the purposes of expanding opportunities for recreational activities. This plan shall include, but not be limited to, proposals for improvements to Cronin’s cove and Levingston cove, storm drains, the existing bathhouse, and access to the shoreline surrounding Crystal Lake, a Great Pond under MGL Chapter 91.” ; And in said item by striking out the figures “44,736,288” and inserting in place thereof the figures: “44,786,288”
