Amendment #567 to H3800

Vacation and Sick Time Conversion

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

“SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, unused vacation leave that is not eligible to be carried over to the following calendar year shall be converted to a sick leave bank administered by individual state agencies, as defined by section 1 of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2016 Official Edition.”.
