Criminal offender record information

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, DeCoste of Norwell, Lombardo of Billerica, Gifford of Wareham, Muratore of Plymouth, Crocker of Barnstable and McKenna of Webster move to amend the bill by adding the following section: "SECTION XXX. Section 7 of chapter 18B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection: -

(p) The commissioner shall require social workers employed by the department and any employee who has unsupervised contact with children to complete a criminal offender record information investigation every 3 years.

Nothing in this section shall be construed to interfere with or impede any collective bargaining agreement in effect on the effective date of this act”.
