GIC Benefits for Municipal Police Officers

Mr. Rogers of Norwood moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:  "SECTION X. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, notwithstanding the provisions of MGL chapter 32B or the provisions of  805 CMR 9.01 (3), the effective date of group insurance commission health coverage for municipal police officers shall begin on the first day of employment."
