Substance exposed newborn grant program

Representatives Muratore of Plymouth, Haddad of Somerset, Khan of Newton, Vieira of Falmouth, LaNatra of Kingston, Gentile of Sudbury, Kane of Shrewsbury, Whipps of Athol, Ashe of Longmeadow, Gifford of Wareham, Muradian of Grafton and Barber of Somerville move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 1450-1200, by adding the following at the end thereof: "and provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 be allocated to the Health Policy Commission for its childhood grant program to support and care for families with substance exposed newborns, including the evaluation and reporting of outcomes pursuant  to section 19 of chapter 208 of the acts of 2018,  "; and in said item by striking out the figures "$9,536,682" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$10,536,682".
