Amendment #773 to H3800
Mental Health Services for Immigrants and Refugees
Representatives Khan of Newton, Gouveia of Acton, Lewis of Framingham, Miranda of Boston, O'Day of West Boylston and Robinson of Framingham move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 5046-0000, in line 24 by inserting after “Boston” the following: “; and provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to the International Institute of New England for culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health services for immigrants and refugees who have experienced torture and trauma” ; and in said item by striking out the figures "$489,380,275 " and inserting in place thereof the figures "$489,630,275".
