Amendment #775 to H3800
Task Force on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention
Representatives Khan of Newton, Blais of Sunderland, Gouveia of Acton, Lewis of Framingham, Robinson of Framingham and Tosado of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7061-9812, in line 12, by inserting after "abuse" the following: ";provided further that $725,000 shall be expended for the Task Force on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, and provided further that not less than a sum of $375,000 shall be expended for the completion of the interactive educational website for all youth serving organizations, a learning management system for on-line training, planning and initial implementation of a public awareness campaign, facilitating the working groups and completion of the website; provided further that not less than a sum of $350,000 shall be expended to increase access to Problem Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for school-aged children by engaging six Children’s Advocacy Centers and their partner mental health agencies to certify licensed clinicians in this intervention;” and in said item by striking out the figures "$150,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$875,000".
