Court-Appointed Special Advocates Program
Representatives O'Day of West Boylston, Linsky of Natick, Barber of Somerville, Moran of Lawrence, Ashe of Longmeadow, Carey of Easthampton, Gouveia of Acton, Keefe of Worcester, Blais of Sunderland, Domb of Amherst, Capano of Lynn, Tosado of Springfield and Kane of Shrewsbury move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 0337-0002, by inserting at the end thereof the following: “; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended on the Worcester County court-appointed special advocates program; provided further, that not less than $112,000 shall be expended on the Franklin and Hampshire County court-appointed special advocates program; provided further, that not less than $175,989 shall be expended on the Hampden County court-appointed special advocates program; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended on the Essex County court-appointed special advocates program; provided further, that not less than $200,000 shall be expended on the Boston court-appointed special advocates program; and provided further, that not less than $53,995 shall be expended on the Berkshire County court-appointed special advocates program" and in said item by striking out the figures "$22,017,779" and inserting in place thereof the figures "22,934,763".
