Amendment #846 to H3800

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7010-1192, in line 6, by inserting after the word “commonwealth” the following: “; provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for the Edward M. Kennedy Institute to expand civics education programs, including investments in curriculum and technology”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$500,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$1,500,000”.
