Amendment #862 to H3800

Worcester Trauma & Resilience Collaborative

Representatives O'Day of West Boylston, Dykema of Holliston and Keefe of Worcester move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 0930-0100, by inserting at the end thereof the following: "; provided further that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for the establishment of the Worcester Trauma and Resilience Collaborative to educate young people in Worcester who have experienced adverse childhood experiences; provided further that said $500,000 shall include (i) $150,000.00 to establish a clearinghouse that will increase the accessibility of existing resources on trauma and resilience and (ii) $350,000 to provide education and skill building support to mitigate trauma and build resilience in young people" and in said item by striking out the figures "$1,437,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$1,937,000"
