Amendment #929 to H3800

Cranberry Health Research Center

Mr. Straus of Mattapoisett moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4513-1111, in the line 15, after the word "funds" by adding the following:-

“; provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, $100,000 shall be appropriated to the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth to be expended for the operation of the Cranberry Health Research Center at the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth”;

and in said item by striking out the figures “$3,497,580” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$3,597,580”.
