wholesale dealer permits

Mr. Straus of Mattapoisett moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:- SECTION XX.  Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, any existing or new Wholesale Dealer permit issued by the Director pursuant to section 80 of chapter 130 of the General Laws shall prohibit (i) use of seawater taken from within New Bedford Harbor for holding and marketing seafood and (ii) the carring or holding of fish in waters of New Bedford Harbor for marketing.  This area is defined as all waters north of the Hurricane Dike in New Bedford and corresponds to so-called Area 1, as described in 105 CMR 260.00, as it may be amended from time to time.
