Representatives Meschino of Hull and Connolly of Cambridge move to amend the bill in Section 13, in line 350, by inserting after the word “laws” the words “or their designees”.

In Section 13, in line 351, by inserting after the word “legislators” the words “or their designees”.

In Section 13, in line 354, by inserting after the word “governor” the words “, provided that the appointee has expertise including but not limited to minority engagement, voter engagement, and the advancement of groups underrepresented in elected office".

In Section 13, in line 354, by striking the words “and the executive director of Common Cause Massachusetts” and inserting in place thereof the words “and the executive director of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women”.

In Section 13, in line 371, by striking out the word “2020” and inserting in place thereof the word “2019”.
