Party Affiliation

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill in SECTION 3, in line 21, after the word "party." the following words:- "Provided that the elected municipal and the elected county officials must have been enrolled in one of the leading political parties for not less than five years prior to their appointment on the commission."
