Section 35 Funding

Ms. Sabadosa of Northampton moves to amend the bill in Item 1599-1214 of section 2A by striking out the words: “provided, that the secretary of administration and finance may transfer funds from this item to state agencies as defined in section 1 of chapter 29 the General Laws“ and inserting in place thereof the following words: “provided, however, that no funds shall be expended for a correctional facility, as that term is defined in section 1 of chapter 125 of the General Laws”.
