Analyze impact of Proposition 2 ½

Ms. Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield moves to amend the amendment in section 20, in line 568, by striking out the words “and (vi)” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “(vi) an analysis of the impact of Proposition 2½ on the ability of municipalities to make their required local contributions in the short-term and long-term and recommendations to mitigate the constraints of Proposition 2½; (vii) an analysis of the placement of municipalities in a labor market area for the purpose of determining its wage adjustment factor and the advisability of alternate methods of determining municipality wage adjustment factors; and (viii)”.vi) an assessment of the impact of the 82.5 per cent maximum local contribution of foundation on the equity of required local contributions and the distribution of chapter 70 school aid.
