Amendment #373 to H4506

Freight Rail Administration

Ms. Ferrante of Gloucester moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:--

SECTION X.  Section 6 of chapter 161C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 5 after the word “commonwealth” the words:--

“and to appoint a passenger rail administrator and, separately, a freight rail administrator to assist in carrying out the powers and duties of the secretary pursuant to this chapter.”
