Special ID Study

Mr. Cutler of Pembroke moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XXXX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles shall be directed to review the feasibility of allowing qualified applicants to voluntarily request a special designation on their driver's license or identification card indicating a hearing or speech impairment or developmental disability; and shall report back such recommendations to the Legislature no later than March 1, 2021. ”.
