Amendment #96 to H4506

Dedication of the Lee VFW 893 Veterans Memorial Bridge

Mr. Pignatelli of Lenox moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XXXX. Bridge No. L-05-045 spanning state highway route 102 on Pleasant Street in the town of Lee shall be designated and known as the Lee VFW 893 Veterans Memorial Bridge, in honor and recognition of the veterans who bravely and selflessly risked their lives to protect and defend the Commonwealth and the United States of America for future generations to come. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing this designation in compliance with the standards of the department.”.
