Ensuring equitable representation on the fiscal and management control board

Ms. Robinson of Framingham moves to amend the bill by inserting after Section 23 the following section:

"SECTION 23A. Subsection (b) of Section 200 of Chapter 46 of the Acts of 2015 is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- The control board shall consist of 7 members to be appointed by the governor, 3 of whom shall be members of the board, 1 of whom shall have experience in transportation finance, 1 of whom shall have experience in mass transit operation, 1 of whom shall be a representative of an advocacy group for MBTA subway and bus riders in the greater Boston area, and 1 of whom shall be a municipal government leader from a municipality in which a commuter rail station is located, provided that said municipality is not directly served by the MBTA subway system.”
