Amendment #60 to H4508

Free Bus Fares

Representatives Meschino of Hull and Connolly of Cambridge move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"Section XX. One cent of the tax per gallon, as defined by section 1 of Chapter 64 of the General Laws, shall be dedicated to provide free bus fares within the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority system. One cent of the tax per gallon, as defined by section 1 of Chapter 64 of the General Laws, shall be dedicated to provide free bus fares within the Regional Transit Authority systems."
