Amendment #100 to H4708

Housing Choice Capital Grant Program

Representatives Vargas of Haverhill, Honan of Boston, Blais of Sunderland, Moran of Lawrence, Domb of Amherst, Campbell of Methuen, Barber of Somerville and Stanley of Waltham move to amend the bill in section 2C by inserting after item 7000-9092 the following:-  

EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Department of Housing and Community Development

7004-0063 For a local capital projects grant program to support and encourage implementation of the housing choice designation for communities that have demonstrated housing production and adoption of housing best practices, including a grant program to support housing best practices in small towns……………………………………….…… $25,000,000

And move to further amend the bill by striking out, in section 10, the figure “722,250,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 747,250,000.
