Internet Access in Downtown Amherst

Ms. Domb of Amherst moves to amend the bill in section 2C in line item 1100-2512, line 126 by inserting after “peace” the following, “provided further that not less than $70,000 shall be expended by the town of Amherst to provide free Wi-Fi internet access in downtown Amherst for the benefit of people who need free access to the internet, people who are experiencing homelessness, visitors, and small businesses.”
