Amendment #1 to H4768

Technical Amendment

Representatives Santiago of Boston and Roy of Franklin move to amend the bill Mr. Santiago and Mr. Roy move to amend the bill in section 7(b)(1) by striking out, in line 109, “Saturday, August 22, 2020” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “Saturday, August 15, 2020”; and

in section 7(c)(1) by inserting, in line 117, after the words “Early voting in person for the primary election shall be conducted on” the following:- “Saturday, August 15, 2020, Sunday, August 16, 2020 and”; and

in section 7(d)(2) by striking out, in line 151, “August 7, 2020” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “August 1, 2020”; and

in section 7(d)(2) by striking out, in line 151, “August 14, 2020” and inserting in place thereof the following:- “August 7, 2020”.
