Expanded Time for Voter Registration

Ms. Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 6c the following section: "SECTION 6(c)(1). To allow for additional time for voter registration, Section 26 of Chapter 51, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out ‘on the twentieth day preceding such election’ and inserting in place thereof the following words ‘on the tenth day preceding such election’.”
