Ballot Scanning

Representatives Soter of Bellingham, Jones of North Reading, Frost of Auburn, McKenna of Webster, Muratore of Plymouth, Orrall of Lakeville, Poirier of North Attleborough and Whelan of Brewster move to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

SECTION XXXX. Notwithstanding the provisions of this act, the State Secretary shall place a bar code on each early voting application capable of scanning into VRIS. The State Secretary shall ensure that said barcode may allow for the viewing of ballots on the State Secretary’s website. The State Secretary shall promogulated rules and regulations for the implementation and administration of this system.
