Amendment #3 to H4841

Improving Child Safety

Representatives Crocker of Barnstable and Whelan of Brewster move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION X. Section 97D of Chapter 41 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following sentence prior to the last sentence now existing in the section:

Provided further, that nothing in this section shall be construed as to prevent law enforcement officers from making any such reports or communication accessible to investigators employed by the Department of Children and Families.”
