Amendment #151 to H4860

State University Policing Improvements

Mr. D'Emilia of Bridgewater moves to amend the bill, as amended, in section 29, in line 314, by striking out the word "or"; and in line 315 by inserting after the word “officer” the following:- “; any state university police officer appointed pursuant to section 22 of chapter 15A.”; and

in section 81, in line 1551, by inserting after the word “committee” the following:- “or its predecessor criminal justice training council”, in line 1552 by inserting after the word “Laws” the following:- “or its associated regulations”; and in lines 1557 and 1558 by striking out the following sentence:- “Prior to the expiration of that certification, the officer shall complete additional training as required by the committee on police training and certification.”.
