Amendment Clarifying Reach Back

Mr. Lombardo of Billerica moves to amend the bill, as amended, in Section 29, line 616, by inserting at the end thereof a new sentence as follows; “Disciplinary matters resolved or adjudicated prior to the effective date of this legislation shall not on their own constitute sufficient reason to deny recertification; however, such matters may be considered in the event that an officer is the subject of further discipline after the effective date of this legislation.”
