Amendment #83 to H4860

Peace Officers

Mr. Mark of Peru moves to amend the bill, as amended, in section 29, line 258, by removing the word "police" and replacing it with the following: "Peace Officer"

and in line 338 by inserting after the number "4", the following new definition:

"Peace Officer", sheriffs, Chiefs, Police, Constables, Marshals, Municipal Police, Campus Police, Environmental Police, DCR Rangers, Harbor Masters and other public officials whose duty it is to enforce and preserve public order.
