Amendment #10 to H4879

Micro-Business Development

Mr. González of Springfield moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

 

"SECTION XX. Section 23A of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section.

 

Section 68. There shall be a micro business development center within Massachusetts office of business development that will provide loans, grants and technical assistance to micro businesses within the commonwealth. For the purposes of this section, a “micro business” means a business with no more than 5 employees, located in a city or town with 75% of residents living under the federal poverty guideline with no more than $200,000 in revenues.".
