Amendment #164 to H4879

Relief for LLC Filing Fees

Mr. Cutler of Pembroke moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX

SECTION 12 of chapter 156C, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking subsection (d) of paragraph (9) and inserting in place thereof the following:

The fee for the filing of the certificate of organization required by subsection (a) shall be five hundred dollars. The fee for the filing of the annual report required by subsection (c) shall be two hundred and fifty dollars for any such limited liability company with a single member; or five hundred dollars for any other such limited liability company. Such fees shall be paid to the state secretary at the time the certificate of organization or the annual report is filed."
