Amendment #254 to H4879

Cultural Facilities Fund

Mr. McMurtry of Dedham moves to amend the bill in line 198 by adding at the end thereof the following new item: -

"1595-6588 For a competitive grant program under the Cultural Facilities Fund established by section 42 of chapter 23G of the general laws to support the design, repair, renovation, improvement, expansion and construction of cultural facilities in response to the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19; provided further, that funds may be used for the construction or renovation of HVAC or air handling systems, construction of shields and barriers, reconfigured seating, entryways or concession areas and all such other actions necessary to accommodate social distancing measures.....$20,000,000”
