Amendment #319 to H4879

Aligning State and Federal CBD Regulations

Ms. Blais of Sunderland moves to amend the bill by adding the following section: "SECTION  XXXX. Section 1 of chapter 94G of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the definition of “Hemp” and inserting in place thereof the following definition:- “Hemp”, the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 per cent on a dry weight basis.

 

Section 2 of said chapter 94G, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 19 and 20, the words “or hemp”.

 

Section 7 of said chapter 94G, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out subsection (f).”
