Amendment #442 to H4879

UML Economic Partnerships

Representatives Golden of Lowell, Mom of Lowell and Nangle of Lowell move to amend the bill in section 2, in line 7002-8003, by inserting after the words “chapter 23A” the following:

“provided further that not less than $10,000,000 shall be appropriated to provide assistance to projects that promote economic development, urban revitalization and job creation through industry partnerships with the University of Massachusetts Lowell and other public agencies in support of furthering innovation in energy related technologies; and in said item by striking out the figures “10,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “20,000,000”
