Amendment #64 to H4879
Vaccine Purchase Trust Fund
Mr. Santiago of Boston moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:-
SECTION XX. Section 24N of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the definition of “Children”.
SECTION XX. Said section 24N of said chapter 111, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 7, the words “children in” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- residents of.
SECTION XX. Said section 24N of said chapter 111, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 10, 22, 28, 30, 39, 43, 80-81, 82, 89, 101, 107 and 144, the word “childhood”, each time it appears.
SECTION XX. Said section 24N of said chapter 111, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 10-11, the words “for children until their nineteenth birthday”.
SECTION XX. Said section 24N of said chapter 111, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 22 and 44, the word “children” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following word:- persons.
SECTION XX. Said section 24N of said chapter 111, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 72 to 75, inclusive, the words “1 of whom shall be a representative of an employer that self-insures for health coverage who shall be appointed from lists of nominees submitted by statewide associations of employers” and inserting in place thereof the following:- 1 of whom shall be a representative of an employer that self-insures for health coverage nominated by the Associated Industries of Massachusetts, Inc.,.
SECTION XX. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the commissioner of public health may designate one or more SARS-CoV-2 vaccines as a “routine immunization” for the purposes of section 24N of chapter 111.
