Pharmacists As Health Care Providers

Mr. Silvia of Fall River moves to amend the bill, as amended, by adding the following section;

Section X. Section 1, Chapter 111 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “nurse”, in line 27, the following: any registered pharmacist earning their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and/or has fifteen (15) years of field experience. The Board of Registration in Pharmacy has the authority to oversee specific standards in implementing this requirement.
