Amendment #42 to H4888

PACE programs and nurse pronouncement

Mr. Finn of West Springfield moves to amend the bill, as amended, by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX: Section 9 of Chapter 46 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016  Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in the 3rd paragraph in line 22 after “who resides in a certified nursing home” the following words- “or who is enrolled in a PACE program as defined in 42 U.S. Code § 1396u–4” and by inserting in line 26  after “or a nursing home” the following words- “or a PACE program.”
