Amendment #6 to H4912

Prioritizing Rebates to Massachusetts Families

Mr. Driscoll of Milton moves to amend the bill, as amended, by inserting the following section:

 

SECTION XX. Section 7 of said chapter 21N, as so appearing, be amended by inserting the following subsection (x):

 

“(x) Inclusive of all regulations promulgated pursuant to this section, a program shall be established which incorporates direct cash rebates to households from proceeds recovered from said market-based compliance measures. Such household rebates shall be directed primarily towards low and moderate-income households to offset increased costs from said market-based compliance measure.”
