Fentanyl Testing Pilot Program

Ms. Gouveia of Acton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4512-0200, by striking out the figures “161,689,276” and inserting in place thereof the figures “161,839,276” and by inserting after the words “chapter 17”, the third time it appears, the following: “; provided, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for expansion of a fentanyl drug testing harm reduction pilot program administered by the Department of Public Health; provided further that services of said pilot program shall be prioritized in communities comprised of 20% or more of racial and ethnic minorities and to communities comprised of 20% or more of residents whose primary is not English.”
